Masthead rigs
Masthead sloops boast larger, more efficient jibs due to cleaner airflow. The forestay's attachment point at the masthead allows for direct tensioning against the backstay, crucial for a well-set jib, especially in strong winds. With the Genoa providing most of the horsepower, it is easier to furl the Genoa when being over powered in strong winds.
Hull form
Hanse Yachts prioritizes performance and comfort in their hulls. They achieve this through a vertically designed bow and stern, maximizing waterline length for speed. Additionally, their hulls are optimized using modern hydrodynamic research.
